Five Reasons to have a arranged marriage

1.Full family support:
For most people in India, marriage is like a family affair.Compatibility of social status, family beliefs all happen here allowing both the parties to come together for a lifetime.

2.Understanding is inevitable:
An arranged marriage is performed only after both the parties mutually decide to go ahead with the union. The process therefore involves understanding each other’s cultural interests apart from individual views and opinions about life in general.

3.Financial security:
Unlike a love marriage where financial security of the groom is not always a priority, in an arranged marriage, it is imperative that the bride’s family ensure that their would-be son-in-law is career-oriented and has a steady flow of income

4.Mystery element: Since an arranged marriage is negotiated by the parents, love happens in due course of time. And because the two people involved are more or less strangers to each other, it leaves them with an element of mystery.

5.Dating opportunity: Once the alliance is arranged, the boy and girl are officially allowed to meet and know more about each other. Fun is when the couple is given an opportunity to date with the consent of both the families.

Importance of Mehndi in Indian Weddings

Indian marriages are known for their many rituals. In fact, the beauty of Indian weddings comes forth in the numerous traditions that are associated with the special celebration. The day of marriage being the most important day in one's life. Infact one whole ceremony dedicated to its celebration popularly known as "Mehndi Ki Raat". Indian marriages are incomplete without dance, music and lots of laughter.

It is a common belief that the darker the color the mehndi leaves on the hands on a bride, the more will she be loved by her husband and mother-in-law. However, the significance of applying mehndi during weddings is not restricted just to sentiments and beliefs. Although these beliefs make the application of mehndi a much anticipated and charming tradition, the actual reason is of much deeper significance.

Bollywood Actor Arshad Warsi, who has shared the screen with actor Madhuri Dixit for the first time in Dedh Ishqiya, believes the actor’s husband, Dr Shriram Nene, is the happiest man on earth to have Dixit as his life partner.

Arshad is also bowled over Madhuri’s professionalism and her happy-go-lucky nature. “I think Dr Nene is the happiest man on earth because Madhuri is absolutely divine,” Warsi said at the DVD launch of his last release Jolly LLB.

Dixit married US-based cardiovascular surgeon Dr Nene in 1999 and shifted to US. Her family then moved to India again in 2011, and she is now busy reviving her Bollywood career.

She is a phenomenal actor,” said Warsi, praising his co-actor. The actor admits that working with Dixit in Dedh Ishqiya has been a pleasure.
